For ETHDenver, one of the largest blockchain trade shows globally, Wormhole, in partnership with AMD and Coinbase, commissioned The Umbrella to create and produce a series of events to publicly launch their new experiential series: Club Hologram.

THE DAY-TIME CLUB

at the loft

From 11AM-4:30PM we hosted the Club Hologram “Day Club,” an informal clubhouse environment serving locally sourced food & beverages, hosting panel discussions (which were also streamed to Wormhole’s Twitter channel), and offering co-working space with recharge stations and fast wi-fi.

Additionally, guests could play Nintendo 64 at a gaming station, and all guests were given custom gift bags containing Club Hologram branded enamel pins, t-shirts, and holographic stickers.

The Day-Club hosted over 250 guests in person, and streamed to over 25k humans on the Twitter Live feed.

THE SUPPER-CLUB

at the gallery

After the Day-Club, we hosted a VVIP supper-club for 75 of the clients’ stakeholders, partners, and the media. We kicked off the dinner reception with a cocktail hour featuring an exclusive cuvée of Champagne, passed hors-d’oeuvres, and dynamic lighting & music to set the mood.

THE DINNER

at the gallery

Following the cocktail hour, guests were invited to sit at a custom fabricated 100ft table, designed with an organic curve mimicking the shape of a worm. Dynamic neon tube lighting followed the shape of the table and created an evolving ambiance throughout the evening.

After a brief toast from the hosts, guests enjoyed a three-course dinner by acclaimed “Catering by Design” featuring locally sourced ingredients and globally sourced wine and cocktail pairings selected by sommelier and mixologist Trevor Langer.

At the end of the meal, guests were invited through a secret door for an exclusive preview of the nighttime portion of the evening: CLUB HOLOGRAM.

The brief: ‘Steal Denver’ and take over
the ETHDenver conference.

At the Club Hologram after-party we did just that. Over 6000 hopefuls registered at our custom-designed and coded event registration website, and roughly 2000 lucky guests got in.

We outfitted the trilevel Temple Nightclub in the heart of Denver with a myriad of interactive art installations, 1-on-1 performances, and scenic vignettes across multiple rooms.

A special DJ set was provided by UK-based Riva Starr and an extra special hybrid/live set was provided by up-and-coming sensation, Biianco.

Guests stayed until the lights came on at 2am.

GueRrilla Campaign

The week leading to ETH DENVER the streets of Denver were covered with Club Hologram wheat paste posters, and digitally, a teaser video and registration link were shared via socials.
